I can't really add anything more to the 'wat happen someone set up us the bomb' then what *datenshikurai and ~jacemoore have already stated beautifully; which was CONBUST WAS A CONBUST.

Though, I can say that I did have a generally enjoyable time, just that the convention itself was uneventful when it came to anything good, and all-around horrible in regards to everything else; the joy I did derive from the convention could just as easily have come from hanging out with Kurai and Jace on the street harassing hobos or sumsht, and I shall feel eternal guilt over the fact that this had to be timed so badly, and that all the negativity could have been prevented. Because hanging out with them was the only thing I rly wanted to do at the convention anyway, and the reason why I booked my flight down there in the first place. WE COULD HAVE SAVED HUNDREDS BY SWITCHING TO GEICO, etc, etc.

While I can say that I indeed had a good time, I was a bystander and did not understand the full brunt of what they were experiencing. Which, now that I'm home and have had some time to be unconscious, see and flail in a fully felt heartbroken annoyance at. Just. WHYYYYYYYYYYYYY KAJSHDGJSDHFJDHF.

So in tl;dr because the convention's collective fffff is actually hitting me like a ton of bricks right now, I HAVE DISCOVERED THAT WHEN I AM CONFUSED AND CANNOT TAKE A BAD SITUATION BY THE HORNS AND WRESTLE IT TO THE GROUND AND DEMAND IT FREAKING VOMIT REINBOS FOR OUR COLLECTIVE AMUSEMENT, I BECOME INANE, EMOTIONALLY CONSTIPATED, AND PERPETUALLY INCOHERENT.

AND PLANE TICKETS TO GO DOWN TO TEXAS IN SEPTEMBER ARE ACTUALLY THE EXACT SAME PRICE AS THEY WERE FOR THIS TRIP.

Also, I got home, unpacked, 'took a nap' at five while waiting for Kurai to get off werk so I could call and not cause their phones to burst into flames, and WOKE UP AT TEN IN THE MORNING TODAY.
